DVD Package design done for a a 3-disc documentary series on three graphic design key figures.
For this set, the documentary was based on designers from the Swiss Movement, it features Max Bill, Emil Ruder, and Josef Muller Brockmann. The look of the set was Swiss inspired and designed with the featured artists’ artwork characteristics. The honeycomb pattern on the main DVD box is reminescent of the time. In order to keep it simple I relied on only a two color palette, witht the exception of white.
The logo design for Design Pioneers was based on who is part of the documentary series. A building block is perfect for this logo because it embodies what the designers did for the graphic design world, they set up the foundations for the industry.
